Born in Canada, 1975

I have been grooming since 1993.

Four years later I decided to start my own dog grooming service. Jens Pet Grooming opened in 1997 in Springfield Oregon and stayed busy keeping Springfield’s doggies clean and happy until 2002 when I met my husband, Craig from Aberdeen, Scotland. Much to the dismay of my clients in the US, I moved to Scotland and within 3 months, we opened Watt-a-Dog Grooming located at our home in Cove Bay.

Since then I my business has been going great, with my custom built salon as centrepiece. I have made huge investments in specialist tools and equipment to ensure I have the best and safest equipment, we import many of our products and equipment from the US. We are always looking at investing in the best equipment for our business and ultimately this gives your pup an exclusive grooming experience.

My goal with Watt-A-Dog is to bring a professional grooming service to Aberdeen, with the care of our doggie clients paramount. I limit my appointments to ensure every dog gets the full attention they deserve. With the emphasis on a non rushed one to one grooming session on each and every dog. This policy has really paid off, now 3 years later, I have a customer base of 350 people and growing every week.

I recommend to new clients to book early, as a 6-7 week waiting list is not unusual. My services now include, colouring, bows, custom cuts and most recently Watt-a-Dog Pet Portraits has taken off.

My husband; Craig, is the website designer and computer wiz, joined Watt-A-Dog full time in April 2006 and we work together to ensure your pets enjoy the very best care we can provide.
