When you register you agree to our registration agreement and these rules which should be followed to promote professionalism, courtesy and good fellowship in Watt-a-Dog Grooming forum.
You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any UK, International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.
Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this forum to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. Further Very Important Rules to Follow
1) You cannot name your employer, or your employees.(Unless you have their permission)
2) Please don't post in all-caps. This is very difficult to read, and on the internet is considered "shouting".
3) No Posting of copyrighted articles or material, including photos and text. Unless you have written permission from the copyright holder. If online, you can put a link to the article, if it is relevant and non commercial. (see 8 - 12 )
4) No consumer oriented messages about warranty problems, repair problems, service problems and complaints regarding training schools , etc. Contact the manufacturer or your supplier or training school direct.
5) ANYONE found collecting email addresses or contact information from this board and using them to spam or solicit customers WILL BE BANNED.
6) Play nice; This is a friendly board and it will be kept that way.
This does not mean no disagreements and no passion. It just means that others will be addressed with respect no matter how strongly one disagrees.
7) Watt-a-Dog Grooming/Trading will keep within the Law in the UK and USA, regarding price fixing.

The Competition Act 1998 and the Enterprise Act 2002.
These are supported by Articles 81 and 82 of the EC Treaty.

The Sherman Antitrust Act (1890)
8 "Grooming/Groomer/Pet-related" topics can vary widely, but at some point some things are not even vaguely on topic, and do not belong on the board. There is more leeway on some things than on others. Religion and politics are especially not acceptable discussion items; and even some "dog" topics such as breeding can flare very unpleasantly, so will be monitored and quashed if needed.
9) The Watt-a-Dog Grooming Forum is not to be used in any manner to promote pet sales. Information about puppies, kittens, etc., or pictures of them, must be limited to animals that are not available for placement, and this must be so stated in the posting.

(11)Pet grooming associations or federations in the UK or overseas.
members will NOT use this forum to recruit members or discuss the forming or operation of such associations or federations. This includes posting agendas / minutes, this rules applies to Posts & PM's
We do not allow the Forum to be used to create, form structures, voice a manifest or communicate day to day objectives of other formal origisations or groups, federations or any other similar groups.
Any posts that contain the above can and will be edited and/or deleted and considered a serious breach of our rules.
BUT we encourage our members to get together, with informal meetings and nights/days out, these meeting can be arranged in the relevant category in the forum.

14)SwopShop: Secondhand items are allowed. Links to ebay etc are allowed.
15)Signatures: Logo should not be more than 30kb and of a size not exceeding 500px length by 63px high.

16)SiteSponsors : Must have a registered account name which has been pre-approved by Watt-a-Dog.
17) SiteSponsors will abide by the Sponsorship Code of Conduct at all times. Only 2 warnings will be given for breaking the rules when a minor rule has been broken. When a serious rule has been broken including spamming and email gathering. Membership will be terminated with no warning any monies will be forfeited .
19) The Admin and Global Moderators at Watt-a-Dog Forum have the last and final word on any disagreement or issue.
Posts can and will be edited by our discretion.
(20)Abuse or Harassment against Moderators and/or Owners of this forum will not be tolerated in any way.
(21) You acknowledge and accept that if you are banned from use of the Watt-a-Dog web site/ forum, you will not in any way attempt to re-register using any other name or identity not known to us, or any other email address not known to us. If you do so, we will pursue the maximum penalty available under your Internet Service Providers Acceptable Use Policy.
If you are unhappy with anything on this forum, please respect that the moderators are volunteers and the owners are not online 24/7.
Any abuse of the rules of this forum will be dealt fairly and to the protection of other users.
Members can be warned / banned / i.p blocked depending on the offence committed.
These rules can be amended at any time, please make yourself aware of the updated rules when you log on.
It is a long list of rules, but this is for the protection of our members and owners of this forum.
It is our intention to keep this forum fun, friendly and firmly focused on the 'Groomers Helping Groomers' ethos as it is this that has it made it so successful at becoming the fastest growing and most active forum in the UK - something that benefits all of us greatly.
